I used to have an INT 110 I think it was. They are nice tanks. I want to start a 60 x 30 because I already have a stand, but IM doesn't sell just the tank unfortunately. I don't need the stand. Following along

Congrats and super excited for you! I have the same exact tank - IM 200 EXT - and just got the stand put together. Like you did, I am in process of finding some movers to hire to lift this heavy beast from the crate onto the stand. Will definitely follow along with your build

What I’m really interested in is if you get a ton of algae growing in the overflow. I’m having that issue right now since the glass eurobrace isn’t covered. I need to get some sort of UV proof vinyl solution and an overflow cover.

No, I put TBS live sand and base rock in the refugium chamber.

I’m probably going to get an ATS and hope that helps solve the problem.

Are you using a reefmat? I have the red Sea reefmat 1200 and it doesn't fit well. The flex pipe included really wants to kink and hard plumbing pvc need the elbow to be shaved flat on the side.

So the lights are super bright. Going to be disturbing for anything other than looking at the tank.

I'm currently adding rodi to the new tank. I'll mix the salt right in the tank. My old tank is 75 gallons with another 40ish in the sump. So I'm probably making 125 gallons of new water (125 +75 +sump is still around 45)
My question is should I cycle the be water or will I be OK basically adding 125 gallons of new saltwater to the existing water?

Sorry, I think you have a typo ("be water") that's throwing off your question. What's your end goal... are you making 125 gallons of new RO/DI salt water, and plan to add old (cured) rock from an established tank?
