Nice build. I’m gonna steal some of your ideas haha. I just ordered the InTank filter chamber cover and two surface skimmer. I’m going to raise the water level up an inch for a tad more water volume.
How did the algae reactor you made work out? good growth?

Thank you! Nice! I’ve raised the water level in the display slightly as well. Had the reactor on a few months but don’t think I had enough nutrients to really get the Chaeto growing well. It’s offline at the moment but may try again soon. Looking forward to seeing your build! Good luck . Will post some new pics soon.

Can we get an update ?

How is that skimmer ? I really want to ditch my nuvo 9001

Did you bring chaeto reactor back online ? My phosphate and nitrate are high and debating ways to reduce

The skimmer is great. Still running and no issues thus far with it. I have it skimming more on the dryer side and this is about 5 days worth. I don't feed heavy mainly pellets for 2 clowns, 1 royal gramma and a cleaner shrimp. I don't feed the corals.

I took the chaeto reactor offline as I could not get it to grow.

I have a bit of red cyano starting up and I think it was because of the RODI water which I just replaced the filters on.

I do water changes about every 2-3 weeks usually 5 gallons.

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to rehome my established Innovative Marine 30L reef tank and stand. I’ve had the setup running for over 6 years, but I unfortunately don’t have the time to maintain it properly anymore and want it to go to someone experienced who can care for the livestock.

Included:
  • Innovative Marine IM 30L tank
  • Stand
  • 2 clownfish
  • 3 pajama cardinalfish
  • Coral
  • Live rock / established system
  • Existing equipment included

I’d strongly prefer someone with saltwater/reef experience who can safely transport the livestock and keep the system stable.

Important:
You’ll need to bring buckets/containers with lids, and be prepared to transport fish, coral, rock, and water safely. Pickup only.

Located in Los Angeles / SoCal.

Please DM me with your reef experience and current setup. I just want to make sure everything goes to a good home.

Thanks!
