Interesting critter

I’ve been trying to get a decent pic of this guy for a while. My best guess is an abalone, but not sure. It has grown a bit since I first saw it. It must have come in super tiny or as an egg on a frag.

I saw one of these on a petco rock and assumed it was bad :)
