Hi all,
I'm new here and new to reeftanks and posting an introduction. I have an, innovative marine lagoon 25, unfortunately don't have room for anything bigger in my 3rd floor studio apartment. I'm running a Kessil A160 for light, Koralia 525 and stock return pump for flow(for now, one day I'll get that MP10), and Tunze nano ATO. The tank has been running for only about 5 months, pic below. There are some rocks in the back that don't go with the aquascape, I upgraded to this tank from a 10g fowlr and brought all the rock over to minimize the little cycle that would come with the upgrade, eventually I'll get them out.
The GSP and Kenya tree have been in there about a month. The GSP are getting moved to an island in the back to keep them isolated next water change and eventually I will get rid of the Kenya tree. I got the frogspawn about a week ago (it's not fully open because I turned on the lights only a few minutes before taking this pic) and love it, long term on planning on having a Euphyllia focused tank.
I got the urchin because my girlfriend loves them, he's ended up being really cool aside from the fact that he hunted and killed 4 of my nassarius snails over the course of a month. He isn't supposed to be carnivorous so I'm not sure what the deal is, I can only assume that he killed them because I always found him eating them out of their shells, anyone else have experience with predatory urchins?
