Since getting my rock cleaned, I noticed some cyano on some rock still. So I dosed the remaining chemiclean I had to combat that so it doesn’t get out of control. Although since I’m more interested in my tank I’m pretty positive I’ll have way better husbandry.

Since I’m off work today and it’s blowing freezing rain outside, I decided to plumb my dual reactor and get in online.

I do have another spot that I was going to start a cheato reactor, does anyone have an idea on when I should get that running full of cheato?

Tomorrow will be day 3 of the chemiclean treatment. I’ll start the reactors to get the stuff out of my system until I can do a water change.

Did a 20-30 gallon water change today and started the skimmer. Didn’t have any problems with it going to normal. Unfortunately I had to wait a while to get the water change done, due to purchasing salt and work, but it got done.

Currently doing a regimen to battle dinos. It’s an 8 day process and am currently on day 4. I’ve also added some new fish since my last update, 5 blue/green chromis, a pair of frostbite clowns and diamond goby.

After the battle with dinoflagellates, they came back. I am Feeding a lot more now to help establish the good bacteria, and it seems like they are receding. Tomorrow I plan on doing a water change and clean up the sump, then run cyano treatment. I’m also converting to a fish only tank and taking out some rock

I guess not much has changed since I haven't posted in a while except for fish dying, trying to catch a punk fish and re-doing my rock-scape . My work schedule got changed so I don't have much free time anymore like I used to. My husbandry has gone way down hill and its very upsetting. I'm trying to get back into my tank but I don't think I'm enjoying it as much when I had my 120 up and running beautifully. This hobby is a love hate relationship, I currently think I'm in I hate it and don't like looking at my tank.
