Now I think of @Brew12 every time I make a Veggie Burger. LOL! Right now I'm munching on a patty and making chickpea meatballs for throughout the week.... and you popped in my head.

If it helps, it has a Smoked Salt sauce....

Every time I make a regular hamburger I think of your husband biting into a black bean burger! :p

I'm thinking Monday will be a zucchini pancake with a thyme aole and a side of roasted cauliflower.

I know... not Vegan but I'm still not sure I can up my sauce game without relying on some sort of animal fat. At least it would be vegetarian.

I've started making sauces with stuff like cashew cream. I'm realizing now that's not the smoked salt sauce on that last burger, but was a Chipotle Sauce. https://minimalistbaker.com/5-ingredient-chipotle-aioli/ It's really freaking good. I adore coconut yogurts and creams, so I use those as a base too, but they're fattening, so you have to watch it. Where I haven't been very active, I've had to cut back.

I am not 100% vegan as I do eat cheese but no meat fish or eggs for 21 years now.
its crazy people think the being vegan or veggie is hard or putting your health at risk. its really not that hard come on guys would you eat your dog? then why eat a cow or chicken? haha I joke keeping it lite here.

there are so many yummy vegan recipes out there. I cook a lot of Thai, Indian, and Mexican.
dang meow I am hungry...

Doesn't sound too bad. That is actually the inspiration for the Zucchini cakes I plan on making tomorrow.

It uses old bay spice... that's pretty much the "crab cake" type flavor. But I have to admit, it rocks it. It will be nice once it's rolled in bread crumbs and fried.

green tomatoes, breaded with panko and herbs, braised
brased roast peppers
braised yellow onion
roasted portobello cap with lemon, garlic and olive oil
served on a grilled ciabatta roll
topped with a key lime hummus
trying to find a picture

I don't! I will look into that, thanks. I've been experimenting with sides too. There's no sense in having rockin' highlights and sucky sides.
