So I had 50/50 white and blue and my watchman was always in his cave like they usually are. Was also a little pale since he was white when I got em. Decided to try to turn my two led whites back on from my lid and only blue from the other attachment and the goby changed completely. Started coming out more and swimming everywhere. And not to mention it’s color is vibrant now that it’s more comfortable .

so I’m thinking it’s more stress related then sex changing ....

The goby should be in the sand.
Imo when swimming elsewhere in the tank above the sand, its a sign of stress.
Esp. A watchman.
It stays in the sand . And it swims around and perches in the sea also. When people come around it bolts to the cave in the sand. It’s not stressed atm
