Mine sulked and looked grumpy for a bit. Then out if nowhere, had fully extended polyps and perked right up. They'll go through a shedding process every once in a while. It looks waxy and like a bad sunburn peeling. Just make sure enough flow to remove the waxy coat when it goes through this phase. It will normally happen after a change (introduction to a new tank).
