Is this a sponge

I noticed this today while cleaning my tank, there are two of them and I believe it’s a sponge but not sure. I haven’t seen this in the tank for the 2 years that I’ve had it running now. Thanks for the help!

No need to worry I assume? Just let them be. I found another after further investigation.

Harmless filter feeder. If they start to smother coral you can easily remove them. Sponge is a sign of a thriving tank IMO
