My torch was showing stress last night, so I did an iodine dip this morning. I noticed some brown gunk around the tissue and brushed/knocked off as much as I could. I am also experiencing a little bit of cyano. I am worried this is brown jelly disease, and don't want it to spread to my other euphyllias. I have ordered some cirpo but it won't be here for a few days at least. Is it a goner? Should I pull it in fear for the others?

That looks like BJD to me. I personally would not put that back in the tank. Just dealt with BJD a few months ago. It does spread fast so as soon as you notice brown on a retracred Euphyllia, pull it out. If its on a large colony you cam cut the affected heads off and save the rest of the colony

Hard to tell for sure in that shot but definitely doesn’t look good. Left side of the coral is toast and the right side doesn't have long. If not expensive, I’d chuck it.

Thanks. I pulled it and put it in a beaker with a heater to observe, but it looks like a goner. I am kicking myself for putting it back in after the dip. I have a nice 4 headed torch colony I don't want to lose. They weren't too close to one another. Should I still dose the tank with the cipro when it comes in as a precaution?

As long as none of the "brown jelly" broke apart and got on the other torch you should be okay but monitor closely for the next week. I have never used Cipro so I cant help with the effectiveness of that
