I won some coral auctions at a great price and this is what shipped in

They weren’t labeled so the three shown are a hologram hammer, frogspawn, octospawn
I’m relatively new to Euphyllia but my current toxic splatter hammer is doing great, just not sure if I can save these or should I just chuck them.

It’s seems to be a coral with very clear tissue, it would be difficult to know how bad it is just by looking the pictures… if the water was not smelly I would give a chance to see how responses, it should be opening in few hours otherwise 🚮

You can never tell as I found just put them where they have proper light and water flow. No harm in waiting

They look rough. Would be nice to know the vendor so other people can avoid them. IMO these pieces should not have been been sold to someone without discloser of their condition.
I agree for sure but for now I’ll withhold that information. They do seem to be coming out a bit and I’ll post updates picture over the next few days. I paid $30 for each of the three and the blue tip octospawn (largest most retracted coral) is pretty massive for that low price.

The bottom right pic may be ok. That top one has no flesh band and really no visible flesh of any kind. Try it but I am calling the top one a goner 95%. Bottom left pic maybe maybe not. This type of thing can invite bacteria that causes bjd into a tank without it, ask me how I know. The coral I got that I think infected my tank looked 100x better than any of those too. Get yourself some cipro and be ready. I am now of the mind if its a great deal its probably to good to be true.

Two lobos I bought as well, the orange pinstripes is great, the pink lemonade a bit retraced and felt very sharp to the touch. I placed them both in low flow, I placed the pink in a shaded spot

I really hope the vender works something out with you. Anything can happen. Just because they are "alive" they can go south and be dead tomorrow morning.

Small update, looks to have at least some flesh. Also thanks to everyone who replied, I did order some cipro just to be prepared.

What I think I don't like here is that they seem to have taken very little care in packaging them up. Containers, cups, frag plugs rubber banded thru the cup to keep them from laying on their faces, etc. Just in a bag of water is asking for disaster IMO.

I agree for sure. I was wondering

about using the rubber holders with holes in them for the frag plugs. You would have to make a container of some sort but I am sure it could be done.

Agreed, a few bags lost most of their water as well. I have a small 16 gallon water box which I can fill and medicate, hoping the octospawn will last until the cipro arrives. Any other tips/advice on measures I can take to save this?

Like said before lowish flow and med low light intensity for a bit/until they look better.
I agree there are much better ways to ship euphyllia a little 2-4oz cup works wonders. The water in the bag doesnt look trashed so these looked like this before they shipped unless the pic is lying.

The water wasn’t too bad, not the cleanest. I had it shipped overnight in the same state, so they were in the bag less than 24 hours.

I made a AB+ and reef roids slurry to feed them, hoping that might help. Octospawn seemed to eat some

Those corals look like they came from Tonga at least the cristata and frogspawn. Tonga frogspawn always arrive looking dead but will open up after a day or two. I wouldn't have high expectations for those to ever look like indo or aussie euphyllia that open up long and fluffy.
