Is this snail good or bad?

I was wondering if this snail is good or bad in a reef tank?

Looks like a sundial snail which would be bad, they eat zoanthids.

Is it known to eat any other corals besides zoas?

I don't think thAts a sun dial honestly... Is it flat on one side?? They also have antenaes like a nazzurius... Check out the picture on meleves site...

I don't think it's a sun dial from that pic. If your not sure then take it out. The last thing you want is a sun dial if you have zoas.

What would it be if it's not a sundial? Especially if it was already in his zoa colony. It's not a collonista. What other snails would look like that? (Not arguing. :) I'd like to know myself)

I looked at Melev's Reef and that is exactly what it looks like. Also, where it was in the zoa colony, there aren't anymore zoas, just goo.

It has been out since i first discovered it, mainly because i know so many things eat corals. If i don't know what it is, I take it out and then come here to R2R.
