I've had it for about a year. The last three months it hasn't extended as much as before. The weeks ago I dipped it in revive and iodine and moved it to the sand bed. I also bought some Brightwell Revive and target dose it every once in a while. He's in a pretty low flow area right now.
Parameters
Alk 8.3-8.5
Cal 450
Mag 1425
Salt 35
Ph 8.2-8.3
No3 19
Po4 .07

Agree looks savable. Iodine is a good call; when I dip the iodine I don’t rinse, just back into the tank, if that is not part of your regime. I’d repeat 1x a wk for a couple wks & assess where I’m at. Look up kfc dip if you want to get fancy (cipro is the key ingredient)

It’s still at a point it can be saved but there is a pretty significant underlying issue somewhere. After a year and it still looks like a frag means it was never doing well to begin with.

In the beginning I kept No3 less then 10 and Po4 .01. I kept my hydra 26 pretty low too. Nothing really grew too much. Once I bumped up lighting and nutrients I'm starting to see a lot of growth from the other corals.

You're right though, there very well could have been an issue the whole time.

I would say - so - there was minimal growth (or not - you tell me) - over the last year - have you tried target feeding

I was dosing AB+ but I an algea bloom. Later on I target fed reef Chilli and it stayed closed for a while. Come to think of it, it never really opened up as much as it used to in the past.
Latly, I've been dosing AB+ again but very sparingly.
Should I try target feeding some mysis?
