This tank looks awesome!
Also, how easy is your CBB to photograph?
easy once they've settled in.

Interesting to hear that it’s not just mine that’s easy to photograph!
Their patterning is so complex yet so simple at the same time. I say complex as many fish evolved to being bright and scribbled all over. Very few like the CBB evolved to be simply patterned and it brings the question of why.

You will need to download the full text, but this generally explains the reasons for their patterning. It is quite unique, and a marvelous example of evolution.

Our floors would need support beams. And, I could turn the living room into a fish room. But none of us go in there. It's the void i tell you. If it wasn't for my sister inlaw, we wouldn't even have a couch in there. I guess i could talk to my husband about that. It's not exactly difficult to do.
Basement sumps are da bomb.

But, the pump needed for the water return, my goodness.
If you can go straight up it's not terrible. But yeah I wouldn't want to run anything farther then 20 ft. Head pressure needed is based on how far vertically your going and bends more then horizontal run length.

Cbb has been my favorite to take pictures of. I love how they swim. Tangs are a zoom fish. So, sometimes they give me anxiety.

I just watch the cbb gliding around and grazing for food. Eventually quits and looks at me as if saying "feed me".
Even as lights are about to turn off. Still grazing on rocks.

Zoas can be finicky and like dirtier water from my experience.
+1 to this, I never managed to grow them until I had dirtier water and then all growth was sped up except my mushrooms growth (Even my acros grow under the same care but mushrooms just don’t spread). I still use the High alk and nutrients but lower PAR on my Nanos today and I still get some great growth. Once everything grows in I do of course build up the PAR to get the proper colours if I don’t already.

did some shroom fragging. Dealing with shrooms should not be stressful
Removed the larger polyp from rock.

She'll be fine. He's getting some rest. I'll probably keep her out of range of the trachy and at that spot so the urchin doesn't snag her.

My last ginger/tinja frag for now. Going to let them multiply before I make another one.

I know :( everything was fine. All of a sudden a foxface went on a rampage devouring my zoas. After that, they didn't do well anymore. I had a few blue zoas that multiplied over 15, magicians from 1 to 8. They all went to nothing. New zoas declined.

But, sps are doing okay.. Figures.

Man, it’s a pain how the foxes are beautiful but they can really turn. I avoid Zoas as something in my tank picks them, the issue is I can’t rule it down to the foxface as I also have a CBB and several wrasses. Although I doubt the wrasses would go after the coral.
