It's Just a Tank

true peps can go rouge too... ;)

Isnt that because there are a lot of shrimp that look like peppermint (camel for example) that get sold as peppermint? I saw an article here a few weeks ago that showed 9 different shrimp that looked like a peppermint. They made a game to see if you could identify the real one. Wish i could find that article (https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/d...eally-eat-aiptasia.605709/page-2#post-6113669)

People have identified them, and peppermints true ones have been found to still eat coral.
The issue was, the peppermints were not eating the aiptasia. That was what the real question was. Why is my peppermint not eating the aiptasia?

The rogue peppermints happen ounce aiptasia supply is gone. Sometimes, not.

It's not every case. It's those situations you just need a plan to remove the shrimp. I never had a skunk who ate my coral or anemones. They all stole food. But, I have seen reports of other skunks eating coral. I would say, lack of food in both cases.

If the shrimp are kept well fed, they may not go rogue. One never knows. Just like with my fox. Well fed, ended up liking corals.

just don't add one of these to get rid of snail eating peps...;Facepalmbad idea...;)
