I have been curious as to why all these shrooms get catagorized under the JawBreaker name?

Even some of you that have the Mystery Tie Dye, still call it a jawbreaker. Why is this?

I have even seen them advertised with all the names all put together. "for sale, mystery tie dye/jawbreaker/game over" and this comes from people that have owned this shroom since it was imported.

So, should there be a different thread for each of these shrooms? Or since the wAter is already "muddy" we will all just keep calling them ever name associated with them?

The answer is money and unoriginality.

I think my Mystery Tie Dye/GameOver has good genes. Every baby starts with orange and red from the get go. I think it's because I picked a good one to be my mama.
This one is tiny. Maybe 1/2 a dime.

This one is dime to nickel size.

I agree, your shroom has great genes! In over 7 years, I've never had babies like this before, but just within last 2 months, I have 3 for the very first time that are similar. Unfortunately, these never go on sale, they stay with the mother colony.

I think it's the former rather than later... trying to ride on the coat tails of the original import. Some know they have a different coral and try to sneak it in as the original, others are ignorant is why I think there's so many Jawbreaker lineage in the Bay Area.

To go back on topic, there is an LFS in jersey that has this shroom which a lot of us locals have gotten babies of. It is actually a pretty good story:

Which LFS. I must have missed it.

I'd love to get on that list for my growing mushroom collection

Pretty sure it's AO John. They have them in their display tank if I'm not mistaken.
