Hey! This is my first post on this site! I have been in the hobby for around 4 years. I started with a 16gallon Biocube and recently upgraded to a 45 Gallon JBJ tank. I bought the tank used and it came with a few accessories. The following is a current list of the equipment that I have setup.

45g JBJ Rimless AOI W/Stand
JBJ Skimmer
ReefBreeders Photon V2
Reefbreeders Lumenbar LED
UV Sterilizer Not installed
Dose Not Installed Currently

It has been set up for a full week now and the cycle has been started. I purchased the Reef Nexus integration kit for the light and installed it. I am having trouble getting the lights to operate. The LED indicator light is solid green and it said that it had connected to the internet. However I can not get the lights to function. Does anyone have any advice?

The tank has finished cycling and now the clownfish and diamond watchman goby have been transferred over to the new tank.

I have a few rocks in the old tank that have coral on them and would like to transfer them to the new tank. However there has been a hair algae outbreak in the biocube. If I scrub the rocks good and rinse them will the algae cause an outbreak in my new tank?

Glad to see your tank finished cycling!

Sorry that I’ve been slow to respond! I have added some corals and fish to the tank since the last post. We had two damsels in the tank and today I picked up a small clown and a scopas tang at petco. They all seem to be doing well.

The tang has plenty of algae to eat right now. I have had a small issue with algae but I’m hopping the tang can help keep it under control.

There is a bubble tip anemone in the tank that I’m hoping the clown will host. If anyone has advice on anything that you can do to encourage that it would be appreciated.

I also have added a mushroom coral and some zoas to the tank.

I really like the setup so far. I wanted an AIO system to try and keep things simple. I have had no real issues with the tank so far.

I had a diamond goby that jumped into the rear of the tank and got sucked up into the pump. So I am looking at possibly getting kraken reef lid or something similar for it to help keep fish from jumping out.

Tanks looking great! I have a ClearView lid on my JBJ45, over a year and still looks new and very happy with it. I run a Tunze 3155 ATO on mine, would be to only one I would suggest if your still trying to decide. I've tried a lot of different equipment on this tank, if you ever have a question on something fitting or not I'm happy to help. My build has quite a bit of trial and error as well posted or pictures anyway.
