I decided to start this build thread to add something to my hobby and to add to our community. This is my 5th reef tank over the last 15+ years Iv bin in the hobby, I’ve bin back into it now for about the last 4 years, slowly getting bigger and bigger and finally bigger. To where I’m at now.
To say the least the wife was probably not thrilled about it, but she puts up with me.

Besides this build I also have a 50 gallon sac cube set up, for about 2 years now, its doing fairly well. With saps growth. Now on with the build....

So the build is a 210 gallon duel overflow glass tank, witch I have 2 returns coming back in to the tank. The only reason I found my self in this build is because of this tank. I got the tank from a cousin that had it set up for only a few months, But had to movie, so he took it down. He ended up leaving it out side in the winter where it held some water froze and pushed the bottom glass out,.So I got a very good deal on it.. Free!!

Step 1, Fix the bottom glass.

First off this tank is heavy. It took help from some friends to just move it around.
First I had to take off the bottom plastic frame, with razors and putty knifes I cut around the frame to get it off. Once that came off in 3 pieces mind you, I put that to the side and worked on removing the bottom glass with the same tools. Cutting the silicone from the glass.

It def. need some cleaning up. On top of the bottom glass fix. Here is a pic of some of the sand that worked it's way in to the seal. It was leaking pretty bad. So I had to clean all the edges of the glass to reseal it.
You have to get all the old silicone off the glass if you want a good seal. I ordered the ASI AQUARIUN SEALANT TO GET THE JOB DONE....Ok Enough, Lets see some pics. Please any Questions just ask

Looking good, man! That seems like a lot of work...a diamond in the rough for sure, but you've got it going the right direction! I'll be excited to see how this looks as you get it going.

This is the silicone I user to seal the bottom glass back to the tank. I bout it from BRS. I'm not a pro at this, but with help from a friend i managed to get it done. I made a little mess but can clean up the edges when it is cured. 20180315_164020.jpg

Please post some pics after you successfully reseal it. I am looking forward. I am liking the journey.[/QUOTE
FIRST, Thanks for following me. Now on the pics.
I was so nervous when adding the silicone that I didn’t take any picks. But I did make this short video when I was done.

So I finishd the stand. It came out very stong. I wanted the stand as low as posable. I followed that youtuber to build the stand SOme DIY GUY. And did some rock work for inside the tank
