Eight months of growth

Any recommended PAR levels for the JF Flame? Just got a tiny piece, and don't want to cook it.

ronnie,
Do you know how much PAR you get for this acro?

Mine is ore at the top and it's doing great under 8x24 t5 and 2 Reefbrite strips. I think once it adjusts it'll thrive anywhere in tank

Now, that's a good growth! looks like it's going to start to take off; you will be rewarded soon my friend.

i have mine at the lower slop getting around 200PAR and i see nice yellow pop on the tip but no red, more on the brown side..
Use 10 T5 bulbs fixture.. wonder if i should move it a little up..

Seems like the consensus on this one is lower third of the tank. Of course every tank if different, but lower to mid light is where most people place.

Mine doesn't have that deep red yet, so we'll see.

Mine is placed 20" below the water line, 30" below the light which is a ATI Powermodule.

Thanks. I have mine about 18" below water line and 26" below the fixture, ATI Sunpower. I'm thinking it's ok, just a little light, but hoping it will settle in a color up better with time.
