Nice start. I have the same tank and we have some of the same equipment. That skimmer is a beast on this tank, best one you can get IMO. Post up a full tank shot so we can see your scape.

Here is a picture of the scape I would say it’s a work in progress and I’m wanting on my clean up crew from reef cleanings to come in to help with the algae 85589DE0-74E1-4BDA-A744-144A09E8ED46.jpeg
I like it. Plenty of places to mount corals and you kept it fairly low.

Please post a pic of your full set up. I just bought an IM 50 Lagoon (as a second tank for my office) and am looking at skimmers and lights. Would love to see how you have yours set up.

Okay I will do it when I get off work but I definitely recommend the PLS-50 Elite II it’s a great skimmer and the water level adjuster from EZ

Thanks, the PLS-50 Elite II skimmer and the EZ water level are on my list to buy. I have a Tunze Osmolator 3155 Auto Top Off on my other tank, so I will just buy another one of those for this new build. I really need to see the back area of your tank to see how it is set up and how much space there is. I am looking at lights with back mounts , but not sure where they would fit on the tank. (GHL Mitras 7206, Orphek, Reefbreeders, etc.) If I don't find a good way to mount, then I'll do the ceiling mount. (Not ideal)

Thanks.

Thanks so much! I bought a Reefbreeders Photon 24-V2 Pro (with rear tank mount) as my light. (Almost purchased an ATI Straton, but really didn't want to mount the light from the ceiling as there is a recessed light very close to where I would need to mount the Straton.) Purchased the PLS-50 Elite II skimmer and awaiting delivery. Was going to purchase the Tunze ATO, but have to wait for BRS to get more in stock.

Awesome set up! I recently bought the same tank and downsized my 150. I’m curious how you mounted the cheato light. I have not seen an option I liked for that before I spend the money on one.

Idk why this is the first time I've seen your thread cause I've looked up the 50g lagoon a bunch and thought I saw them all haha, but nice setup man. I have a question about the reefwave 25, I run a single one on my 50g lagoon also, so you have any issues with flow? I feel like it's so hard to find a good spot for mine and when I do where everything isn't blowing around crazy I get bad dead spots? Do you have another wavemaker or something in there as well to compensate or what do you run your on? Obviously our rock work and stuff is different just trying to get acouple ideas on what to do before I buy another wavemaker

How did you get your Skimmer to fit? I have the same tank and I just got my PLS-50 Elite II Nano Protein skimmer and i can not find a way to get it into the chamber. Did you do anything special to get it in? Nice tank my the way.
