Johnny 5 is Alive!

Great! Popped a crab in this morning before I left for work. Was a big bigger than I'd planned, so we shall see if my murderbaby ate breakfast.

Murderbug's condo is a perfect view from my bed. Beautiful way to start and end a day, if you ask me.

Ignore the wire. Just have to get a small power strip for this outlet.

First Waterbox for me!
I really like the setup of the AIO. Once the tank itself is broken in, I'll give it a good comparison to the IM AIO 10 & 20 I have. Very nice quality tank, for sure.
I will share dimensions and equipment another day.
The waterbox AIO's are the only ones I've ever ran, was sold on them when I got back into the saltwater side of the hobby in 2015.

They're very similar. The waterbox seems to have more room in the back chambers. I really love the shape of the waterbox, it's not dissimilar to my IM 10.
IM does come with a nice mesh screen lid, WB did not. However, for this tank, that's not going to be an issue.
I do like that IM comes with a filter sock and media basket, but WB comes with a large media pad as well as the filter sock.
I'll have better comparison after I do my first waterchange, for sure.

I ended up going with the intank media baskets with the waterbox, it worked great.

He really gets so excited when I get home! He runs over to the corner and waits for me to say hi.

Today he got a little tickle, and totally fell over like it really tickled.

The crab, and a small snail, are both still intact in the tank. He's saving them for snacks.

Was a quiet Murderbug weekend.
My son was sick, including a trip to the ER, but all is good when Mom is a mermaid.

Today, he was back to himself and we had a great weekend nonetheless.
Murderbug glamor shots to come eventually.

Hopefully nothing too serious. Glad he's on the mend!

Sorry to hear about your son, I’m glad he is doing better!

I ended up getting one, too. This weekend I'm planning on doing WC's on all 5 tanks, and will swap it in.

I've noticed a few small differences in the tanks, between the WB & IM. I'm making little notes here and there - literally... sticky notes and dry erase notes are everywhere - comparing what I do and don't like about each tank.
After doing the water changes on the 3 smaller tanks, I'll see if I have anything else to add before I post up my thoughts. *Also, once I can piece together all my lovely adhd stickies, I can make them into cohesive sentences that the rest of you will be able to decipher. I write in nursing abbreviations and hieroglyphs.
