Sweet I'm so in love with shallow tanks after my new cube was set up... Really wanna chop my big display down and use it but the wife will flip!!!

I actually bought this one off a member who moved. The first time I saw it I knew it would be perfect for my acan addiction.

Thatsa verra nice tank! Love how open it is. Perfect for frags. ;)

Is the plan to keep that as a frag/grow out tank?

Probably not long term. In the next week or two I'll finish moving everything from the other tank and then the sides will be lined with frag racks!

Doing a little testing with my camera and iPad. Took this with the Canon, then edited and posted via the iPad pretty easily.

These are two of my favorite acans I picked up from ProCorals a few months back.

Everyone wants more pics these days! I'll get around to it this week, I promise!

Tank is looking really good I think. Been playing around with the scape a little bit and I mounted my RKE, MP40 and AI controllers this weekend and cleaned up all of the wiring. The Tank is now completely clean on two sides, no cords in the way at all!

I haven't really provided much info on the setup yet so here it is!
36" x 30" x 14" (I think) tank
Glass sump
2 x AI SOL Blue LED's
SWC 120 skimmer (from Luke @ ReefFiltration)
Avast reactor for GFO

That's about it...pretty simple!

Well, it's been a while since I've posted. I haven't really added too much (if anything) to the tank since I posted last as I've been enjoying the beautiful California weather.

I don't like any of the pics I've taken but here are a few...

Wow, I haven't updated in quite a while! Unfortunately, or fortunately, not a whole lot has changed in the tank. I've done a little rearranging and lost a blenny due to a power outage but everything else is looking pretty good and is growing nicely. I am completely giving up on favias as I'm just not having good luck with them and the ones I do have just don't seem to grow...oh well. Thinking about adding a few sticks and a whole bunch of z's & p's to fill things in. I'm starting to get a lot of good coralline algae growth so it would seem as if the tank's maturing pretty nicely. I'll try to get some new pics for you guys soon!
