I Initially had them at the location you described. In order to fit my skimmer in the sump chamber I needed to move them closer. Debating on building a light rail for it!

Or a floating canopy to match the stand?
Yes! We're going to eventually build a canopy for my new tank. What we did for the 110 was a sit on top canopy with a removable front and then two rails across the middle top to hang the lights from.

I’m starting to setup a 135 gallon cube tank, 36” by 36” and trying to figure out lighting for it. How many of the noopsyche lights should I get and what layout would be recommended.
