So I’m planning starting to use Kalk once I run out of the esv 2 part I’m currently dosing. I have an avast K1 Kalk stirrer and I’ll be dosing it with a Neptune dos.
My system is approximately 60g total and my main reason for the switch is to increase PH as my PH hovers around 8 and I would like it a little higher.
For those of you currently using kalk do you supplement with a 2 part or go 100% kalk for alk and cal needs.
I currently add Red Sea colors weekly so I will also start adding mag since the Kalk won’t help in that regard.
I’m interested in hearing people’s experience (good and bad).
As a side note the new tropic Marin all for reef also has me very intrigued. But the PH boost from kalk is what I’m really interested in at this point
