Kazi's 90 gallon Reef

Hi, so after a having a a decent success with my old 50 gallon cube, I decided that I wanted to go ahead and upgrade to a bigger tank so that can fill in the whole wall of the kitchen corner. It was a good 4 ft area of space so I decided to go with a 90. Hopefully this build will come out just as good as my cube tank.

After 2 weeks of waiting, finally have the tank

And it goes in it's permanent place

Wish it came with the back glass painted. Might go with black again.

So it's been about a month since the last update, nothing much happening lately. But cycling is closing to an end and I've decided to transfer a few fish and corals over from my holding tank. So far so good....

So it's been awhile so I thought I'd update my thread tonight. It's been a rough few months, with algae problems, fish dying from unknown causes, and ich. After trying to fix the problems, things are starting to go in the right direction. Added alot of SPS so far and in just a month, they're growing at a steady pace. Here are some FTS and close ups. I apologize for the bad phone quality pics.

Yes, they're barlett anthias and unfortunately all 3 passed away due to the ich problem I had

Quick update...

I feel really bad about making this noobie mistake when i knew this already. My montipora cap and digitatas aren't doing well and are bleaching due to GFO overdose. Took the GFO offline and hope they recover in a few weeks.

I made that same mistake when I first started mine. Couldn't figure out why all my sps were bleaching. Glad to hear you caught the problem and rectified it!

Yea that's the only solution I can think of bc that was the latest change that I added to the system. Good thing my other sps werent affected too much.
