Hi, I'm slowly converting to SPS and could use a few opinions.

I got this leather(5"+/-) a while back and was told it was slow growing, Japanese(I think) and rare. It's supposedly a few years old now. In a few months I'll be trading or selling all the corals I don't want.

I think it looks nice under the right light settings but I want SPS mainly and think it will be too much light. Should I keep this one if it's the rare neon green leather?

I have looked online but still confused. Seems like all the pictures I saw being sold or in forums all looked different from each other also, like different species. Hope it is the rare one because I only saw a couple pictures that looked similar(thin/skinny). If pictures are rare then maybe the coral is also.

Any info would be great. If I keep it I plan on giving it it's own corner as low to the sand possible.

Looks like green nepthia or sinulara. If you like it I’d keep it. Probably won’t mind the additional light

I do but only have 60 gallons(less AIO) to work with. If it was rare/expensive I'd probably
keep it or sell to get one of those corals "I must have!"

Found this SPS that I might buy and it's pricey IMO. It pleases my eyes from every angle. Feel like not even waiting like I already have been. If it's not sold already might make the purchase now.

My wife even said it was really nice and didn't give me, the look.o_O I'm fairly new to saltwater and don't follow or know what's in but this one's a must have for me. I'll post a pic if I get it.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
