So does the fan on a Kessil 160 blow from the top to the bottom? Or from the bottom to the top? I am not sure if I have the fan in correctly.

I figured that Kessil would frown on anyone taking a part their Kessil lights so I have not reached out to them for this.

If it’s past warranty, then there’s no issue and they are more than willing to help. They have amazing customer support, even after the product is out of warranty.

Fan needs to blow upward and out of the casing. It cools by means of extraction

Thanks I will flip around my fan then on my 160. Thankfully I run it at its lowest % on my tank.

I have been a fan of Kessil's for a long time now, I wish they fix the fan issue, I should be able to send in my light and they fix it, it is a good business model, I would need to have a spare light on hand so sales will go up.
