Greetings reefers:

Quick question I have a tank measuring, 36’’long, 24’’ depth and 15’’tall. I have two Kessil A160WE for it, what height I need them and if I can keep coral with just two of them. Thanks and happy reefing.

What types of coral? You'll most likely want 6.5 to 8" off the waters surface, but if you're going to stick with the 160s I'd highly recommend getting a third one for even coverage.

I have 4 over my standard 75g (48 x 18 x 20 ). I raised and lowered the Kessil's when I was setting them up so that there was very little light spill outside the tank, I think it's somewhere around 7"- 8" off the surface. I added a 2 bulb T5 fixture as well to cut down on some of the shadowing.
