Nice! Are you running a canister filter? How is it compared to a sump?

Yea I’m using a UNS Delta 90 with the Aquario Neo Flow lily pipes. I’ve got the skimmer attachment for them, but have the siphon tube turned backwards so it acts more like a bubbler for extra oxygenation. I’ve also got the wave makers close enough to the surface to do the “skimming” and it works well enough that there’s no sign of any film or anything on the surface, it’s basically crystal clear. I do have the filter on a rocker switch next to the tank so I can easily shut off the filter when feeding, then turn it back on after I’m done. At this point I’m actually having to dose ammonium bicarbonate since nitrates read zero. I can’t comment on how it compares to using a sump since this is basically the only setup I’ve ever had.
