Ahhh, makes since. You must be breedering in a mix reef tank? Let me ask you, what is your hatch rate like when you pull that early?

Keep us posted. I have Lightnings hatching as I type this hopefully since the lights just went out. These were the eggs I kept under the water pump I made until last night when I switched to air. Looks like about 25 hatched last night early and the clutch looks great. They are all looking back at me, so, fingers crossed. Also came home to this

Well last nights hatch was a bit disappointing. I would say I had about a 70% hatch last night. Not the typical results I have when eggs are left with the pair until the night of hatch. I have moved the pot to another hatch tank to see if I get any late hatchling. I will try it again but this time use Percula eggs. Lightnings are tuff to raise anyways

I fed them to get a picture of them active and you can see the yellow dorsal fin but then it's hard to get a good picture with my phone.

I have been in the process of turning my 75 into a frag tank. I want to be able to buy a clean up crew and use the frag tank as a qt for them. I had to remove my Darwin clownfish to do this and I put him/her into a tank with a large true percula. I had a tank diver but it came loose after a couple weeks and to my surprise they got along. I swear they were cleaning the rock. Came home to this. Not sure if they are fertilized.
