Hi all,
I'm thinking of an AI Hydra 32 for my 65 gallon (36x18x24) mixed reef. It will be mounted inside a canopy approx 10" off the water surface. Right now I have T5 but I'm looking for more control. The canopy has forced ventilation so I'm not too worried about heat buildup. Is this a solution that will work or are there better options?

Check out the Maxspect Razor X. Absolutely love it! Best decision I made.

My AIs are mounted 10" using the 72" HMS bar. I just have 3 vents on the top of the canopy. I really like the AI lights and have used them for a while now.

I’ve had Ai Hydra’s in a canopy for years and it never caused me any issues.
