LED ID and support

yes it sounds weird but can someone ID if this is the real deal and why I can't find it online?

I bought a brand new in box "AI SOL" with "AI controller" for $100. I know it's discontinued and everything but I can't find black body AI SOL. all I see is white body AI SOL. furthermore, how do I use this controller? no information inline at all.

Go to their youtube videos HERE, and hit the "load more" to find the videos on setting up this controller. Hope this helps.

It is a real AI unit you will have a hard time finding it through the site as this unit was made by AI before ecotech bought them out. YouTube does have a lot of videos showing you how to use that controller it's pretty simply once you see it.

which generation is this? ai sol usually have a white body. but this is black.

Every generation had both white and black the blacks were harder to acquire but you could buy them. Which pucks does this unit have. Here is every puck configuration I know of in order of generation.

I guess you have the cord that goes from controller to Sol if you do plug it into data and play around with the controller. I only had the controller on my Sol for a day when I first got them.

looks like the 2nd one but black body. why is the black one harder to acquire?

+1 @Greenstreet.1 I believe this to be accurate I have followed AI since they came out. In the beginning everything I would try to order the units the black was either Out of Stock or back ordered (lol out of stock). Everyone I knew that had these units went for the white it was different than most of your MH and T5 fixtures that were always black. Me personally the black was my choice I always felt it looks cleaner.
