Led lighting inexpensive

Hey guys I wanted to know yalls imput on what type of lighting I should use for my reef aquariums. I wanted to know what yall have and how well the coral growth really is and if you feed and dose your corals as well. Right now I have a 75 gallon reef with a current USA orbit and need something that is alot better. Also I am going to set up my 29 gallon again and I have a 4 bulb t5 for it. Although I have the t5 I want a type of led just due to it always bleaching out my corals.

Well I'm not a brand new hobbyist and I like them so far. So far I have better growth and color than the reef radiance lights that I had. Are their better lights of course. But I would rather not spend $1500 on lights with so much other stuff I would like to have.

3 oceanrevive t-247 here over a 72" 150 gal- I have no problems with any SPS,LPS I previously had under MH

ifarmer has some serious issues and loves to go negative both here and on other forums.

I have T247's over a shallow reef and a frag tank. Corals heal quickly, are healthy and grow fast. Somebody needs to get his head out of his return pump! LOL!

You wouldn't believe it but 80% white, 20% blue. In person, it looks like a 20k Radium. How do I know? Because the right fixture in the video IS a 400-watt 20k radium. [emoji16]

I don't prefer the overly blue lighting of most LED-lit tanks so I matched it to my Radiums as best as I could visually.

It's very unorthodox and I'm not going to say I recommend it but my SPS aren't complaining and my colors haven't shifted at all since the transition. If I have softies or even LPS, I'd be hesitant to try that setting honestly.

How high do you have then hung? Do you know par levels?

Please keep in mind that I was using 400-watt MHs before the transition and I have mainly light loving SPS. I was running 800 par up top, 600 in the middle, and 250 on my sandbed with 30" of depth. I think you can easily roast softies and LPS with the fixture so I wouldn't get too high.

In my frag tank, I'm running more of a normal led spectrum with 60 blue, 25 white and with the fixture 10" above water line, with corals 5" below that, I'm reading 325 par. If you have the standard 6' 125 gallon tank, I think your settings are just fine for a normal tank and if you are sps dominant, you could probably go a smidge higher.

This is a complete lie and a very uninformative comment to make. There are numerous threads on this site and many others documenting great growth using Ocean Revive lights..

I use rr 165p+ x2. I've been running them for 9 months now. I get good color and growth. Cant complain at all. Not sure how they compare to t247's.

I have found a lot of people will say you cannot grow coral with certain lights. I used fluval LED's on my 30 and did well. I had growth on all my corals. Mind you this is my first tank. I kept stylophoria acropora for 3-5 months with visible growth and great polyp extension. So I'd be careful with people's opinions.

The Chinese LED's work well. I have a few friends who run them. And love them.

For my 100g I still use the short LED, and had a ballast for one bulb and added an actinic blue bulb. Everything seems to be good. 3 months in. Noticing growth on everything. My polyps, my leather, my anemones,
