I need to light an Aqua Vim Moon View corner tank. Across the front measure 50” 29” deep on the sides and 36”tall. Light will be in a canopy sitting ~12” from top of water. The tank lid is clear glass. Photo inc for reference.

I’m looking for LED recommendations for keeping LPS, softy and nems with fish please. I’m looking at the Kessil AP9x and have been told I could go with a Hydra 64. What do you all think?

One APX9 might be enough. Two Hydra 32s would give you better coverage than a single Hydra 64, as would a pair of Radion XR15s.
I was concerned that the Hydra 32 wouldn’t punch down far enough with the tank being 36” tall. You think it would work?

All depends on what light levels you need. You didn't mention SPS, so you should be fine if the PAR is 50-75 at the bottom of the tank. You could also look at a pair of the Kessil A500s - as they have add-on reflectors to drive the light down.

Ok, thank you. We will be sticking with LPS and softies
