The one that's more blue I think i have had for over a year now and it's put on a good bit of weight in that amount of time, its probably about 8" from end to end. The one with the really light accents I got just a few weeks ago closer to 5/6".

Nice! Yeah I have several that are 8"+ and yeah 1-2 years they can add a lot of size. It's nice to see someone else with some big clams, it's not so common!

It's a couple months old, but definitely the best pic I've got of my derasa:

Taken with an Olympus TG-6, partially submerged in the tank to take the pic, and the colors are what it looks like in person. Really astounded with the coloration and the growth rate.

Thank you, I do think it's the most impressive thing in my tank! I got it right at the end of 2021, so close to year and a half. Started about 2.5" for the length of the shell and it's not 6-6.5", though in terms of volume, it's dozens of times its original size.

i cant think

Got an order of clams from ORA via Amazing Aquariums &Reefs. Post better pictures later.
these are the best Crocea I have seen in ages. Small Crocea at about 1 inches.

Those Croceas are beautiful, I may have to add a Crocea when my Deresa outgrows the sand (Well, if my Maxima decides he’s going to continue to grow at the rate he is currently I may have to replace him with a Crocea)

These are the clams I got from ORA yesterday. 5 Crocea clams that are about 1 inch and 4 Maxima clams that are about 3 inches. Plus 4 Gigas that are about 5 inches. Many thanks to Ali from Amazing Aquariums & Reefs, and to Jordan from ORA. I really have not seen Crocea this beautiful for years. The Maxima are no slouch either. The Gigas are usual Gigas.

Too bad they are not all mine. :)
