Well I am upgrading my tank to a 40 gallon breeder and bulk reef supply said I could get away with a ecotech xr30g4 non pro with wide lens kit so I bought them hopefully this will do what I need for my reef of soft lps and sps corals could not beat the deal for 599 on sale for the radion

You’ll be able to grow acros only in the middle.
Not fond of the advice they gave really.

Two 15s would have done you better for more even coverage.

It’s a 36in tank and you reccomend a 12in fixture? I mean I flash Light will light the whole pool. But not well.

I mean , yea it’ll work, but it’s not a great reccomendation . Two pendants on that tank would IMO Be a whole lot better.

I hear ya there only problem on my end is budget also lol I asked them before I bought it on Friday and they said it would work have not got it yet

I Like my Prime HD on my cube tank and it produces great shimmer, color, growth and very quiet

When considering SPS and "get away with," this is usually not a good combo to use in the same sentence. I agree that this will not be enough light except for nearly directly under the light it's self.

Well returned the xr30 and got 2 ai prime HD’s I am pretty impressed so far time will tell
