Light schedule around my work schedule?

I wanna light my tank with the main lamo for 6-8hrs a day. I work daily from 330pm-12am. I usually click my tank light on for several hrs before work and feed the 2 or 3 times and off go the lights. Do i set the tank to light up in the morning before work or should they come on at night before i get home until say 4am....when i go to bed?
I will be adding a cpl led bars for shimmer and dawn dusk effects. Maybe a white or blue moon light. Idk about that yet. Ty for your opinions.
