I want to get new led lighting for my tank. Right now I have 2 dimmable 24" DIY rapid leds with whites and Blues and I'm just not happy with the colors of my corals. So I'm looking for something new. I was looking at kessils bit my tank has the middle brace so I don't know if it would cause to much shadowing. I have the LEDs in a canopy right now would like to keep them there if possible but I am open to removing it. And input/opinions are welcome. My tank right now is mostly softies but I would like to get some sps going. Tank deminisons are 48x22x18. Thanks for the help.

I want to say it's like 43 inches? I have been running it about a year now, I have had great success with it. Only issue I have had is I bleached an Acro. It's pretty strong. Fits perfect inside the canopy. Great color, can get a little "purple" but I tone the blues down

That's a pricey unit. Is there any benefit of the razor over say kessils or other brands

I'm definitely not a lighting expert by any means. I really liked the Kessil units when I when I was looking online. But after you buy two or three of them it was the same price or more. I have a LFS that sales and uses Kessil, I personally think the razor looks better and I like that it is fully adjustable.

Sits flush. The center bar is about 1/2 inch above the light

I've been doing a lot of research and I'm starting to lean towards reef breeders. They seem to be an all around great light. I like that they spread the leds unlike the razor which is clustered. They are a little more controllable and about half the price. You can change out the LEDs if you want and optic angles of you want. And if read great customer service from them as well. That's what I'm leaning towards atm.
