i am going to move up from my 40 breeder to a larger cubeish tank. wife got me a 40w x 36x 21 h . it is 130 gallon acrylic tank. I am contemplateing metal halide but dont know what wattage foe a tank this shallow or how many . Most of the reflectors i have seen cover a 2x2 area. A friend says he has a reflector that is supposed to cover 4x4 or 3x3 not sure. I would go T5 but at these dim i that i need 12 tubes so . What are the recommendations.
