Hello.. I need some input ... I have a 120gal .. Mostly sps ... Half of which are high end ... I have the Maxspect razor 300w .. One of my channels went .. It is still under warranty.. Coralvue wants me to send it out and they will replace both sides and put the 120 lenses on because the 90s won't work with the new parts .. Any way they said about 3-5 days of not having lights .. Will my tank be ok with no light for 5 days?

I am not experienced enough to answer. But if I was in your shoes I'd first consider buying or borrowing a temporary from eBay/craigslist/friend/LFS. Better to run the lights at 75% than 0%. Have to consider any shipping delays or issues from the people repairing it.

*Idk anything about how long they can last with or without light.

Yikes! I agree with a cheap temporary! Even like a two bulb T5, something just to get you by. Hopefully someone who's done this will chime in!

It's cases like this a good lfs that you're a good client to or a fellow reefer that lives close by can help tremendously by lending you a fixture. I would definitely look into that rather than taking a risk especially with high end sps on the line... At the end of the day even if that's not an option if you were to go out and but another razor like yours the money you invest in it will be worth as opposed to lose high end colonies...
