lighting

mmk i got a ? about lighting. when i bought my light . the guy told me to do 6hrs then 8 and so on til 12. my ? is i got one 10k dont remember which and one antintic. ive seen where ppl ask what cycle other ppl are running. i thought you ran em both at the same time? now i think that, that was not the way togo so... what do i do? one then the other or both at the same time?

the light i got is the coralife lunar light :( shoulda waited and got a better light i know...

most people have their actinics come on about an hour before and stay on about an hour after their daylights to simulate dawn and dusk.

oh and my tank is a 56g

so i know what i got is really low lighting for my tank...
