I can't tell if this is sarcasm? I'm a beginner, but I don't want to quadruple the livestock in my tank at once. Isn't that dangerous?

I would not order more than I have the capability to Quarantine for 6 weeks. Depends on the size of the fish and the equipment that you have for your QT tank(s). If you are planning on throwing everything directly in the display, you would probably want to limit given that you are rolling the dice on introducing a disease. I don't see any issue in doubling your stock if you have the space, proper equipment, and a mature enough system to handle the bio load.
