Live rock on sump

Im setting a new tank and Im gonna do minimalist aqua scape but my question is can I place a lot of live rock on the sump which I have a 100 gallon stock tank and not cause any problems

As long as you use filter sock and put a powerhead in there to blow stuff around every once in a while, you should have no problems.
