Live rock

Hi people, I've had to take some of my LR out of my DT in order to catch a large fire worm.. Is this enough LR in my DT for a few weeks until I can put the rock back in... Thanks.

I would keep a eye on the water parameters and do a water change if necessary.If your tank has been cycled it should be okay.It looks like you have a large sponge inside.That should help keep the population of beneficial bacteria up.Hopefully it won't take that long to catch the worm.I would put a piece of food in the bucket to lure it out.The sooner you get the rock in the tank the better.

Is there any reason in particular why you are trying to catch the worm? Although they seem like pest they are beneficial as well, they usually feed on leftovers.

Hi, thanks for you input people. It's a fire worm and eats corals reefereric. It's well over a foot long.

oh my! sounds awful! good luck catching it - I think the amount you have in there should be ok as long as you keep on eye on your parameters
