I have a 12:15 delivery time which is fine. In the past it was on the truck by 7am and out for delivery by 10:30. Now it doesn't get on the truck till till 9 am and then out for delivery so everything is pushed back 2 hours.

Yeah it definitely had a lot of water but I still picked it up at the UPS facility already and the one fish arrived dead. I honestly think I am done ordering from LA.

There is no way a wrasse dies overnight from shipping unless it had a serious disease before. But yet they thought it was fine to ship it with that disease.

Same here, too many deaths. Now I have 2 Rhomboid Wrasses seemly have bladder problem and outside of 14 days guarantee. Not worth the worries and heart aches. Sticking to LFS from now on.

I ordered yesterday, I'll know tomorrow what time it will be delivered to my house.
All my orders previously have arrived by 10:30 AM.

On a related note, has anyone received a fish shipment without ANY packing peanuts?
I had one shipment without and it left me wondering if they are cutting cost lol

All livestock I get from whomever, and wether its fedex or UPS I always pick up directly from the main facility. This saves on hours in a truck with extreme cold or heat. I'm fortuate to have both facilities in my town so it works well for me.

Mine had some packing peanuts. It did not serve a purpose though. Was minimal at best.

I always get a lot of packing peanuts on my other shipments, it’s just this one I got a couple of months ago.

Well I have another shipment today and it is only 5 lbs but 3pm delivery time. So since it is not the weight, it must of been a new contract between UPS and LA? Lucky for me I accept everything at work so it should be here at or before lunch which is only a hour after 10:30. One thing I noticed since everything goes through Kentucky the plane is getting there later and parting later so maybe UPS has changed something? I am guessing the cost of shipping has gone up, and if you have ever shipped anything overnight it is expensive for individuals. But I would rather have free shipping at $99 versus a higher amount. The reason is warranty and replacement/refund. Most places do not refund shipping cost, and at $49 for the product and $50 for shipping a my refund would only be $49 versus the $99 refund

If you go to Live Aquaria's website - and look at 'shipping' it explains what 'UPS NEXT DAY AIR' is. Its not just for LiveAquaria - Its the definition of 'Next day air'.

The time depends on where the shipment is going (there is a map on the website) - if you order from California there are places that are delivered 'by 1030', '1200' or '300PM'. From Wisconsin there is another map that shows the same times. It all depends on location. If for example you live in a 1030 delivery area and it gets there at 3 PM - thats UPS's fault not LiveAquaria. (PS I'm not a fan of Live Aquaria for many reasons before or after Petco).

Personally - I like Fedex better for shipping things - but it is more expensive.

11:43 water was cool due to a cold pack. Fish if fine so far, acclimated and now in a Prazi bath for a few hours. Came in with just enough peanuts. After Taxes $172

Just reporting back I did get my shipment on Monday, had two losses fairly quickly but everything else seems to be eating, so at least the packing was good for their 3 full days and change in a bag.

I have it stopped at UPS facility, it’s there and scanned in usually by 8:30. I pick up at 10:00.

I just placed my first order through them for fish. I elected for Saturday delivery. Does someone need to sign for the package, or will they leave it on the porch? I think I’m going to leave a sign for the UPS driver to porch it if no one answers.

I have had them once...in winter deliver by 7.

Once by 3.

And a bunch before 1030.

I have no idea how they decide this since it didn't seem based on weather for me.
