I always get it before 10:30am.

They have amazing packaging too. Very generous with the amount of water and insulation. Like 16lbs for a single fish!

I got one on Wednesday, got it around 330 pm, contained 3 tangs. Everything arrived fine, same insulated box and cold pack.

Usually it is 1030 this was a first.

Got a coral order next week maybe, I will report if it happens again.

I live a 3 hour drive from Live Aquaria Divers Den in Wisconsin
I received my first fish this week Tuesday.
My fish left on next day air around 4pm monday and it arrived at 2pm Tuesday.
Packaged fine and the fish is great.
Just wish my order didn't have to fly to minneapolis just to get on a truck to be driven 2hours from minneapolis (45min past my house) to sit overnight then be delivered the next afternoon instead of morning.
Not a complaint..this happens with amazon as well, it's the ****hole area I live in.
And UPS HATES me for complaining about their logistics so many times with their CS dept.
I mean if my fish goes on a plane then driven 2 hours away sits overnight then the next day is driven around for 6 hours before delivery...Why not just UPS the fish from Divers Den and just be driven the 3hours here. It's probably much cheaper for them even. dang I must be the logistical king?

So I ordered something from LiveAquaria Diver Den, which is also around 2-3 hours from my house in Milwaukee WI. For whatever reason the fish first went to Minneapolis then came to Milwaukee. I got my LiveAquaria from California earlier then the one from Divers Den. Don't think I will be using Divers Den again.

I will still use Divers Den because of their decent somewhat QT process, 14 day guarantee and WYSIWYG.

But I agree your fish shouldn't be going to Minneapolis first. Just contact them and ask why it must go there first. Maybe they can reroute your fish from now on. My issue is where I live. Everything I order online goes past my house sits overnight before being delivered I'm used to it at this point.

My package arrived this week and it was shipped that way but I assumed it was because the box the two fish where shipped in with water weighed 30 lbs? It showed 3 pm residential, but being I have it shipped to work it came in at 11:30 because of weather delay. Normal time is before 10:30

Guys I am talking about if you placed an order in the past week or so. I know before it was 10:30 but now it seems they moved it to 3 to save money.

Also I picked up my order at the UPS hub, the Golden Rhomboidalis Wrasse was dead so my Friday is not the best so far

Are you yelling?

I have done a lot of business with them too, I just think it is strange to ship 2 fish over $200 and not have them delivered before 3pm

I have never had a problem with getting an order from LA before or after Petco took over - always arrives early the next morning. FWIW - I'm near Minneapolis - so one could ask - why cant they ship in the AM - and it would be here in couple hours - rather than overnight? For those getting later deliveries - Maybe it would be a good idea to call and ask why shipments to Milwaukee go to Minneapolis first? My guess is that its still the 'fastest' option. LiveAquaria ships via 'UPS Next day air': UPS Next Day Air offers guaranteed, next business day delivery. Next business day delivery by 10:30 a.m., 12:00 noon, or end of day, depending on destination (serves all 50 states and Puerto Rico, with some limitations in Hawaii and Alaska).

So here's the key. It depends where you live within UPS delivery route.

And BTW - I dont know - because I really dont order online for fish any more - BUT - I wonder if you're concerned about getting a late delivery that you could upgrade to an early morning delivery (but it would cost money). Additionally - Though I want to get my fish at the earliest possible point, I would expect that they pack/ship based on the fact that everyone is going to get their fish/etc. - by the 'end of the day' so it shouldn't be a problem getting it at 1030 or 330 PM

Agreed. It doesn't bother me that much considering I live 3 hrs from Divers Den and it still has to fly to minneapolis first, then drive within 10 minutes of my house to sit overnight an hour away to be driven 6 more hours a next day...what are you gonna do right? That's just how it has to be.

Now if I could intercept that truck when it's within 10 minutes of here I'd have my fish same day delivery;Smuggrin

What is the weight of the package? I am just wondering if they are shipping with more water in the bag and the trade off is a later shipment time?

I had an issue when i ordered fish for my new build, 2 different locations shipped my fish, but ive only had them delivered before 10am once, the cardinal trio actually got stuck in Dallas over night and arrived 2 day, i figured they would be dead for sure. but nope they are cruising the tank just fine. coarse i didn't wait on acclimation due to know the ammonia spike i would have. just dumped them straight in QT.

Ordered two tangs last week and they arrived on my door step by 10:00 AM PST.

I will say that this shipment thought was 10x better than the last fish order. Few months back I ordered a purple tang during one of their sales. It also arrived by 10:00 AM PST but the fish was in horrible condition. Not only that the bag did not have the normal lower half blackout like I received every other time and this past shipment.

But on topic my order last week was on my door right side up by 10 AM. Best shipment ever from them and Scopus and Lavender tang are happy, great shape, and eating non stop.

What do you have coming?

Package is 30 LBS. CUC pack, 3 shrimp, 7 larger crabs, lawnmower blenny, 5 chromis, 30 snails.

Edit: Crazy thing is my package was 45 mins away at 7:30 this morning. Figured it would have been here early. Estimated time is still 4:30.
