I was thinking it was living with a bristle cage worm. The feelers look exactly like one.Yeah i did think maybe some kind of pod next to it possible but do pods have 4 or possibly 6 feelers but more likely 4

I don't think you need too. I really don't think any of these guys are problematic.I think unless it comes out hole and shows itself, the only other way is to cut skeloton and physically pull it out
I don't believe he needs to remove it, I guess he could. When I had a gallon crab in my trachyphyllia I just used a VERY sharp and pointy tweezer to remove it. Came out very easily
I removed it from my trachyphyllia because the tissue was receding on my coral once I removed it it was back to normal. And I agree if it's not causing problems then leave it be. In my case it was aggravating my coral so I took it out.I don't think you need too. I really don't think any of these guys are problematic.

Yeah will definately be enjoying holiday as been 2 years since last holiday abroad due to covid this is 3rd time amended same holiday and had to finally change destination only 4 days ago lol so 3 times changed/ postponed plus booked 2 other holidays on top of this but ended up getting full refund on both as thought this stupid covid be over in 6 months max then thought a year and now wouldnt like to guess but we slowly getting back to normal and having full attendance at football matches so if let 40-80000 people in stadium must be getting better right ^_^Try not to think about it on vacation. Hopefully, everything goes well, and you can kick back, relax and enjoy family time as well
I need to stop adding corals, so I can relax.
One last thing as just seen this, the cleaner wrasse continually annoys 3 fish all day long, and 2 of them are the wrasse and cbb and other cb ( the 3 biggest fish for slime coat and dead skin and possible parasites if they eat or not in a tank idk) so i sometimes think to get rid of the blue streaked wrasse to let the other fish do the job i got them for.I would think the cbb and wrasse would be eating those things.
Take pics of the wrasses head, make sure it's not an imposter. Also, their main food source comes from fish. Very likely to harass small group of fish vs a large group. One last thing as just seen this, the cleaner wrasse continually annoys 3 fish all day long, and 2 of them are the wrasse and cbb and other cb ( the 3 biggest fish for slime coat and dead skin and possible parasites if they eat or not in a tank idk) so i sometimes think to get rid of the blue streaked wrasse to let the other fish do the job i got them for.
For most parts they let cleaner fish clean them but sometimes dart off or turn on cleaner lol
Yeah already checked before and when buying its got straight forward mouth rather than underslung mouth and not a mimic cleaner wrasse,( think called fang toothed blenny or something, which now i write that doesnt sound correct name lol)Take pics of the wrasses head, make sure it's not an imposter. They like a lot of fish swimming around. And someone they can swim with. I do not know why. I am sure there is a reason out there. I have seen several videos of foxes taking cover by another fish. Mine isn't the only one. ;Hilariousfoxfaces are cowards and scaredy pants
Yeah just going keep eye on lobo till go on holiday in few days and then see how it is when get back and go from there.if its still doing ok then will just leave aloneThis gall crab conclusion seems way off base. The physical features simply do not line up with the available photographs of what I find when looking up Cryptochiridae or "Gall Crabs" they are much more crab like with none of the elongated body or antennae seen in your video of either creature. I am sticking to my prior assertion that these are most likely some form of amphipod rather than a crablike arthropod species as is being suggested in prior comments. However I would not start hacking away at the coral; instead I would promote observation or if you can't stand to take the risk and want them gone dip the coral and save the specimens so we can see them better in video and photos to try to identify them.
Here second video with close up zoomed in of hole 8- 10 mm high amd 2- 3 mm left to right and with tentacles and manibles doing there thing lol
One more video to share shortly when it allows me
Hi sorry only just seen this.just watched last seconds of video you re-posted above and cant really see nothing in that picture.@ 1:52-2:00 we have the big reveal. I do not believe it to be an amphipod at all. I will explain why. I have to over emphasize the creature.
If you watch the last 8 seconds of the video, it has some weird appendage. I do not know what it is. It moves out of the tunnel a little and adjusts. I have seen plenty of amphipods, and never seen one with a design like that. Unless you know of one. If there was just 4 antenna. i would say amphipod. But the middle appendage, doesn't make sense to me.
Doesn't make sense to be a gull crab either.
And a picture of burrowed amphipods to compare.
Edit: Shrimp also have a snout type thing. Which I don't know any shrimp that small.
This is why I love hitch hikers. You are doing every thing right. OBSERVE and enjoy watching the live rock. It will tell you who needs to go. A very good habit to form. If their diet changes, you will catch it and know when to intervene, get involved. The lobo looks good. They will help keep things clean.Been doing lots research on pods/ spider/pod looking critters as just curious person so would like to know ^_^
Look at this video and see if the movement is similar to the guy in the cubby.
Edit: I watched video 2 probably 15x nows from 00:55-1:03 to where you adjusted. I don't know what to make of the leg - arm - mandible movement with the quick movement it makes leaving the hole and dashing back in around :58-1:01mark. If you blink, you miss it. I wish the video was a bit more clear.
Don't worry about it for now.
