The foot does look a little injured...and those are messentrial filaments hes putting out....theres a good chance he can heal that up...low stress try not to mess with it too much and spot feed a couple times a week some small food.

Before I do anything ima ask
Should I remove the pvc pipe that he is in maybe that’s Cousing the cuts or if he doesn’t like it he could get out of it it by him self ?
I feel is verry small for him

They do prefer to wedge in between rock and sand but without much sand he might just keep floating around looking for a spot. You can try it agoin and see if he stays...

It does look like his foot was injured, and that could have been the cause of setting/non setting issues.
IME they rarely if ever recover from a foot tear, but I would not give up hope, as it does look mostly ok aside from that, and did look ok in last set pic.

I personally would remove the PVC and pile more sand in that area.
And you really gotta do your best to leave it be, hard as that may be for you, it's best to quit messing w/ it

I wouldn’t mess with the pvc pipe if he is squeeze in between it or attached in some way. The only I would do it if he was like sitting on top of pvc and not attached in any way like floating around like when you bought it. If there is a way to focus your light on a certain area of the tank, the anemone will move to that area by itself is my thoughts versus stay in a dark area.
I have two LTs and out of all the anemones, my fav because they stay in the substrate and I had success versus BTAs. When I first got mine, it was so bleached it shrunk to a size of quarter & thought it would die. It came back and now brown and

has a green in the center areas and getting huge. It wasn’t sticking to anything either and I tried to dig holes or put in a crevice but no good. My advice is to leave it be. It will attach eventually and that is what mine did.

Thanks! Mine isn’t deep, maybe 2 inches tops in some areas but about 1 inch and half. The glass isn’t clean but water is. The one in front of glass was the bleached one so you can see it’s recovery. It used to flop around at the bottom and I know it is tempting to move them. I kept moving it and gave up because it wouldn’t attach. One day it did and started to shrink and go that is it, but regained its natural color and started growing. It has a green glow center. The larger back one is stuck in hole rock and into the sand bed. They do move but around substrate area but do not climb on the glass like BTAs. The one in the back was on the right side of tank and moved to center then to the left side. It looks happy but has grown considerably. I haven’t had success with BTAs and made the switch to LTs and no issues.
