Longest your collector urchin "wore" an article of "clothing"

Hey all. I have had collector (gratilla) urchins in the past. Today I realized that dude has been wearing the same shell it had since I introduced him.

I know I can't be alone on this... What's the longest your urchin "wore" a piece for and please post what it was in the replies.

I had a tuxedo wear an upside down hermit for 3 days, I finally took the poor hermit off since his legs were constantly in the air! Lol

I had the same thing happen with mine and a trochus. Those are $4 now... I couldn't have that.

apparently they start this at a very young age. Hitchhiked in and about the size of a pencil eraser and already has 2 tiny shell hats. Such a cute lil guy. Anyone wanna name him?
