better yet just order ground probe , not expensive 10 $ ... ;) :)

You can check it with a volt meter, but ground probes are cheap for sure!

I think we actually have avolt meter as Hubbs used to check outlets. How do you use one? Part in tank part touching what? Which in water, red or black?

Circuit probe, lamp inside lights to show current. Troubleshooting the old fashioned way. Only good for 12v systems.

You'll want your voltmeter set for AC voltage. Black lead in your outlet's ground terminal or against the rough in box if it's an unfinished wall, red lead in the tank, anywhere there's water. Turn on individual components and note the change.

Then check for stray DC.

You may detect low AC voltage while flourescent lights are on, even if they're not near the tank. Generally sub 5v ac will not affect anything, so under 5.0v, safely ignore.

Ok can't find crap, lil "disorganized" ATM, but you can use 1 of these" rt hand pic " to assure the outlets are grounded correctly... :)
I will look today ,almost sure have a few new cheapies...;)

I think this is the light I’m going to work towards. I believe I know one off he issues with my old current USA pumps, it’s the power cords. Mainly where they go into the loop Bluetooth module. Also reading up, those Nero 5s seem strong so maybe the smaller 3s and maybe just one for now.

By that I mean it’ll be a bit of time as I’m strapped for cash, have a lot of bills to make up due to lovely PayPal taking from a credit card instead of my bank and then the money sent to it is for some reason an echeck making my insurance probably cause a overdraft fee….

This is my worry with the light itself, is the mounting arm applying pressure to the glass. I’ve done everything short of finding a new way to actually mount this to get it to stop pulling. Is this common for larger pick style LEDs?

wipe back clean ,3 x to be sure , just some tape ,packing ,duct ,just slightly to hold in place ,DO NOT try to force closer under pressure... ;) :)
any other suggestions Friends ?
